Denver Craft Ninjas loves to recycle and we often try to focus our efforts on projects that use materials that the world has discarded. The more we reuse what’s been used, the more we see it’s effect on the world around us.
That was our philosophy with our Cabinet Door Chalkboard project!
With the help of Bud’s Warehouse and our teacher for the day, Jennifer Hensley, we were on another cool Ninja adventure.
As you can see from the pictures, taken by the talented Amber Powell (of Rococo Boudoir and Crazy Maes) , we worked our tails off.
Each cabinet door had to be sanded, painted with chalkboard paint, decorated with colorful paint around the trim, and hardware installed – all between sips of bloody marys!
It’s hard work, I can tell you that much!
But clearly, the end results were amazing…and USEFUL!
If you’re curious about how to do this project – shoot us an email!
We’d love to share our skills and knowledge with you!
Special thanks to Three Kings for always being awesome and letting us take over the Phoenix Gallery once a month!
If you’re feeling adventurous, join us for our Dia de los Muertos Sugar Skull project – RSVP by October 21st!
